Bellavista Pompei

Description

Our Bellavista model is a revisitation of our Alleria design, with some obvious distinctions: a) a glass, b) a band showing an alternate “A” of our logo and c) an included key to disassemble the piston for easier cleaning. The result? A fountain pen with a modern silhouette and three rings, a couple of new features and an attractive resin exclusive to GIOIA, 100% made in Italy. All Bellavistas come with a JoWo #6 steel nib (14K gold on request), made exclusively for us and available in EF, F, M, B, 1.1. and 1.5. By giving the various models charming names, we bring a little bit of our beloved city and the sea adjacent to your pen collection.

The yellow of our new resin recalls the famous “Pompeii Yellow” colour, and the pearl grey and black recall the 4-6 m (13-20 ft) of volcanic ash and stone under which this ancient city was buried for centuries, due to the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD.
